Centrivity monitors, maintains and support customer owned and leased servers to ensure that the operating system functions correctly and is configured to meet customer needs. When contracted for, commercially available virus protection is provided and signature files maintained to protect the operating system, operating system updates provided by the commercial vendor are loaded after having been tested. The operating systems and server application are monitored 24x7x365 to ensure that the system is running normally, and any operating system level problem is resolved when detected. The customer will be notified when systems are running in excess of their normal load and the cause appears to be a customer supported and/or maintained application.
